Hello, my name is Countess. I am a 17 year old Thoroughbred and I was also rescued from the same feedlot as Brian in October 2009. Due to the fact that nobody took care of my hoofs for me, I had a very painful abscess that had went untreated. Upon arrival at Castleton Ranch, my hoofs were trimmed, the abscess found and then treated. My hoof is doing a lot better now and I am able to stroll around the paddock with my new friends.
