Tikkun Olam
Tikkun olam: repair of the world.
To activate us as a community living its commitment to making a difference in the world, the congregation takes on various mitzvah projects, benefitting both local and remote organizations. Among our long-standing efforts are:
- Feed the Hungry – a Muslim-Jewish initiative
- Pride – participation in the annual Pride Parade to reach out to the LGBT communities
Past campaigns have included
- Sending solar cookers to women in Darfur
